How my story shaped how I design.

01 — My Story

My story has shaped both how I work as a designer and who I am as a person.

Growing up in an entrepreneurial family taught me initiative, responsibility and the value of hard work.

Team sports taught me dedication, teamwork and the drive to work towards a shared goal.

The Norwegian Armed Forces taught me discipline, resilience and the importance of following instructions.

Studying psychology taught me that people perceive and experience things differently, and that it is important to also look beyond what they say.

Studying engineering taught me to break complex problems down and understand how the pieces connect.

Studying design taught me how deeply design shapes everyday experiences. Regardless of the intent, every design creates an experience and influences how people feel and behave.

Interaction Design taught me how thoughtful digital experiences can actually connect people, technology and organisations.

Together, these experiences have shaped how I approach design: with curiosity, structure, responsibility and dedication. I believe understanding what matters, before deciding what to build, is where better decisions begin.

Hard Work

I believe strong results are built through consistency, prioritisation and commitment. I do what needs to be done, even when it takes more effort than expected.

Co-creation

I believe great teams make great work. I value playing to each other's strengths, challenging ideas constructively and pushing one another to grow and deliver our best.
